Overview
Job Responsibility-
Ensure service levels that do not hinder business flows
Creation of the Functional Design Documentation (FDD) for minor enhancements including
Detailed solution design
Test scenarios/scripts to validate the solution
The FS act as liaison with the live businesses to:
Proactively ensure uptimes / SLAs:
Capture enhancement requirements if any
Ensure leveraging best practices
He / She collaborates closely with the Global Solution Architects to:
Ensure global template consistency
Solution fits across business areas
The Functional Specialist supports multiple projects / enhancements and business as usual activities, are is thus not a dedicated resource for a single project.
He/she reviews and supports testing of the various developments along with the developers.
Area of responsibility:
Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Assets, Cash Management etc)
Controlling (Standard CO and overhead accounting, SAP PS and WBS)
Work Experience:
8-10 years of relevant experience working with SAP (ECC 6 / S/4 Hana) in a hands-on application management organization and project environment
Experience in SLA oriented multi-site support environment
Expert level understanding of the SAP product suite
Expert in diagnosing / debugging / trouble shooting
Extensive experience with SAP configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
Experience defining business requirements, writing functional design documentation
Expert level experience of SAP modules and underlying architecture design
Experience in designing SAP software components
Experience integrating SAP with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools
Expert level understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
Industry Experience Worked in Multi Site, Cross Functional Support team
Full lifecycle ERP experience in an SAP manufacturing environment with specific understanding of various Finance Functions
Functional Knowledge: Expert in depth understanding of business functions and SAP. Specific knowledge of Finance
