Overview
Job Responsibility-
Participate in design meetings for Web application projects.
Create test plans, test cases and other QA documents based on software requirements and specifications.
Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation and automated scripts from verbal communications
You will be working closely with the development team, participating in test planning sessions and retrospective reviews to capture actions and suggestions. You’ll identify and prioritise test cases for UI/ API automation and also perform manual testing for the active Sprint to ensure product meets quality needs
Participate in product design, and ensure maintainability and test-ability is considered as part of design. Automate
features delivered to ensure sustainability. Report defects and follow-through as necessary to complete the testing cycle
Devise and carry out both manual and automated tests to establish the quality of the software under test
Conduct root cause analysis of field failures and work with the development team to resolve them
Plan and prioritize own work in discussion with the Project Manager, Test Manager and other team members
Maintain effective relationships across all stakeholder groups
